Recently Boeing pilots flew the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for an ETOPS (extended operations) flight test with GE engines. It was for a roughly 18 hour flight covering about 9,000 nautical miles. The funny thing is that the flight plan path drew the number 787 and the company logo across multiple states. Boeing’s VP of marketing claimed it wasn’t a joy ride. All that we can say is “Yeah, right!”
