This American B707 model aircraft is a scale replica of the original American Airlines Boeing 707-320 aircraft. The Boeing 707 aircraft is considered by most to be the first successful commercial aircraft. This mid-sized aircraft was in production from 1958-1978 and 1,010 were ultimately manufactured. American was one of the early purchasers of this aircraft from Boeing.
