This striking scale model spacecraft is of the orbiter Endeavour NASA space shuttle. The replica model is the ideal size for a desktop and arrives fully assembled with a handsome wood and metal base. Model scale is 1/200, with about a 4½ inch wingspan and 7 inch length.
The Endeavour went into service in May, 1992 and was retired in May, 2011. The orbiter was named after the British ship HMS Endeavour. A national competition was held to name the shuttle and Endeavour was the most popular entry.
